Platty Soft represents a digital platypus. It was a one-man company for a few years, until  I closed it on 2014. However, I liked the logo and the name so much that I kept it as my own personal brand.

Why a platypus? Well, this is what the wikipedia has to say about the platypus:

“The bizarre appearance of this egg-laying, venomous, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed mammal baffled European naturalists when they first encountered it”

It is a strange, fun animal that breaks most of the preconceived classifications. And there was one preconception I really wanted to break, which happened to be become company motto:

Serious and professional are not incompatible with fun. Boring is.
